Software Developer
This is a Full Time Position
Description
The Software Developer is responsible for developing, supporting, and maintaining custom applications for customers and internal business systems. This position is responsible for various phases of software development, including design, implementation, integration, unit testing, revision control, release and maintenance of multiple products and subsystems. The right individual will have strong ethical values, be detail oriented, a self-starter, have a strong desire to succeed, be committed to client service, work well independently and in a team environment, be able to listen to customer needs, and implement solutions based on industry best practices. Must have good communication skills and be able to interact with all levels of staff, management and client personnel.
To be considered for this position, the preferred candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and knowledge of:
- .NET 4.0+
- MVC
- AJAX
- JSON
- SQL Server 2008+
- HTML4 & HTML5
- CSS2 & CSS3
- jQuery
- Visual Studio
- Version Control (SVN, GIT, Team Foundation)
Knowledge in the following technologies is a plus:
- Entity Framework
- Facebook App Development
- Java
- CMS Platforms (WordPress, DotNetNuke, Joomla)
- PHP
- MySQL
- Microsoft Access
- VB
- Active Server Pages
Responsibilities will include:
- Team oriented collaborative development
